The 2.85 carat ruby ​​is certified by AGL (the main gemological authority for colored stones) with the indication of geographical origin of Myanmar (Burma).
Myanmar rubies are the most prized in the world by origin as that region is known for producing the highest quality material.
Ruby is natural, which means it is extracted from the earth as certified by AGL.
It is not filled with glass (also known as composite rubies) like most of the cheap rubies that flood the market. It is a pure ruby, unlike composites which are a blend that includes very low quality ruby.
The ruby ​​was heated, as well as the vast majority of rubies.
This is a standard treatment for rubies and is completely stable and permanent, it has only received a minor heat treatment, which is a rarity!
The color of the ruby ​​is a uniform and richly saturated red hue, it is a beautiful pure red color, there is an inclusion of clouds which blends very well with the color.

The ruby ​​is surrounded by a bright halo of mine-cut diamonds.
The diamonds have been cut by hand and are imbued with an air of exceptional vintage charm.
Like old mine cuts, they have charming chunky facets, are beautifully white and are rated G-I for color and SI1-I1 for clarity.
The diamonds stand out brilliantly against the intense red of the ruby ​​and the warmth of the yellow gold stem.

Finally, the setting is made of solid 14k yellow gold.
