This Old European cut diamond is certified by GIA, the world’s premiere gemological authority. Under GIA’s rigorous standards, the diamond received a color grade of L. The diamond shows just a hint of warmth and faces up quite beautifully, complimented by the 14k yellow gold setting. Part of its antique charm, the subtle color is typical of diamonds mined in the 1800s due to the locations of the early mines in the Cape region Graded VS2 for clarity and is totally eye clean. The few inclusions are scattered and too small to see with the naked eye. As an Old European cut diamond, it has wide hand cut facets which return exceptionally big and bright sparkle as well as captivating flashes of colorful fire. The ring is made from solid 14 karat white gold and the finishing touches are truly superb! Gorgeous filigree adorns this knife edge ring, finished with milgrain beading. The ring measures 16.2mm across (north-south) and 4.7mm from the finger to the top of the ring. Overall, it has a brilliant and eye-catching look!
